What payment options do you accept?

For your convenience, we accept cash, check, and all major credit cards. Third-party financing is available through CareCredit and Wells Fargo Financing, often with no or low interest for qualified applications. Our staff is ready to help arrange these or other options for you. Please see their websites for details. Payment is due at the time of service, or according to your agreement with us.

Do you accept insurance?

Many of our patients have dental insurance plans and since Dr. Lieberman would only agree to participate with a plan that supports the best care for our patients, currently our Schenectady office doesn’t participate in any dental insurance plans. If your dental plan allows you to choose a dentist, we’ll work with you to maximize your benefits as well as file all of your insurance forms for you.

I don’t like drills. Are there any other options?

We offer air abrasion, an alternative to the traditional dental drill. With air abrasion, a stream of air and tiny abrasive particles whisk away decay. The tool emits no vibration, heat, or noise, which are the factors that cause the pain associated with a dental drill, so in most cases, there is no need for needles or anesthesia.

Does your office offer laser dentistry?

We use many kinds of lasers for precise, comfortable dentistry. DIAGNOdent by KaVo is our cavity-detection laser. It scans your teeth to find decay and areas prone to decay and eliminates the need to inspect teeth with a traditional dental hook.

Our soft-tissue laser allows us to treat gum disease, perform tissue contouring, and remove cysts and lesions. You won’t need stitches after laser dentistry treatment, and bleeding is minimal. Most patients recover more quickly after laser dentistry treatment than they do following traditional surgery.

What are my options to replace missing teeth?

We offer bridgework, partial dentures, full dentures, and dental implants to replace missing teeth. With X-rays, intraoral photos, and a thorough assessment of your dentition, we can help you decide which replacement option is best for you.
